THE GAME OF INCLUSION
In the painting Children's dance by Candido Portinari, the topic of marginalization and its applicability to different contexts of daily life stands out. This phenomenon can come up already in early childhood and it's often not recognized by the adults. We think that it's important to intervene within the school context, by involving the children themselves in projects about inclusion and using play as a tool. In fact, we consider the activity of playing as a fundamental resource for growing, learning new skills, developing personality and socializing. In the Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the United Nations recognize play as one of the most important rights of the children.
In this room, you can find a visual narration of the process from exclusion to inclusion.
