THE CHEATERS AND THE TRICK
The authors of this room have discussed the theme of cheating through the analysis of the painting The cheaters by Caravaggio. In fact, they have compared the gestures made by the characters in the painting, who try to win by cheating, and the gestures that people do in their daily life in order to achieve personal goals by cheating the others. This project wants to raise awareness of the consequences that these actions may produce both on the cheaters and the victims.
This laboratory addresses the third, fourth and fifth year children of primary school.
The pictures are taken from Google images and edited with Snapseed. We have added details that emphasize the gestures and the characters' role by using lights, colors and stickers.
The last photo has been taken by us. It portrays the authors of the project with a focus on the emotions that children feel.
