THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE

Description

To set up our exhibition, we have started from the painting Boulevard des Capucines by Claude Monet. In the picture, you can see a gloomy and crowded street of Paris. On the left, there are buildings and the crowns of the trees depicted in yellow tones. On the right, a crowded avenue with people running around chaotically. On the right edge of the canvas, two men wearing a hat on a balcony are depicted. Apparently, they are looking at the scene below like us. The artist has not shaped every element of the painting clearly, but has portrayed them as if we would be seeing them from above, so that the figures, lights and shadows appear undefined.

The only element that stands out in the image are the red balloons. We therefore decided to make them the main topic of the project. Our goal is to involve children emotionally and artistically in the work, by stimulating them to seek uniqueness in reality.

In the cover, we have taken over Banksy's graffiti showing a little girl and the sentence "there is always hope". The central theme of our photos is hope represented metaphorically by a red element that we have highlighted.
