THE RIGHT TO PLAY

In 1999, the UN established the right to play as an inalienable right of the child. Yet, this right seems sometimes to remain only on paper. Child labour and exploitation deprive them of their childhood and dignity, by forcing them to grow up and reject their desires and aspirations in life. This project wants to let children broaden their gaze on the world and use their imagination to fly to alternative realities, different from their own. But, above all, it shows that playing can destroy the barriers of time and space and unite the whole world. Playing is a way out of a world that sees hate as an antidote to loneliness and all forms of discrimination.
