THE NON-VERBAL ART

Description

In this white room we want to illustrate the importance of the non-verbal language of each work of art. Each artist transfers their feelings in their paintings and it is up to us to manage to grasp it and give it a personal interpretation.

Non-verbal communication, gestures and facial expressions are part of our daily life and define our role within society. Therefore, we think it's important to teach children from an early age to recognize them and give them the right meaning. Thanks to these paintings and the characters of Inside out movie, we want to help second year children of primary school interpret the feelings of happiness, sadness, anger and fear. In fact, the aim of this itinerary is to interpret the emotions that the woman in the painting Love Letter by Johannes Vermeer shows through facial expressions.
